Today I had another very productive time with Lyndal, who is my colour consultant. Today we managed to choose a scheme completely different from our initial one. This is the process in action!!! We selected a range of colours and tones and then went upstairs and looked at them in situ - whereupon we modified the selection. I am now very happy and will heed her advice, not to go back to the colour charts and start looking at other options. Actually, I think I am coloured out. However...there is now the question of carpet choice! I went with Steve again to choose tiles and carpet. Successful on the tile front, however, carpet will take a little more time. I am giving myself three days and then THAT'S IT! Good grief, there are people in the world fighting for the right to vote, schools in NSW might not get the opportunity to teach critical thinking in Ethics classes, my beloved Cairo is burning - and I am worrying about shades of carpet.
Gyprocking continues (I am still not sure if there is a verb, "to gyprock" actually, I am sure there isn't. But this is a living language... anyway, it is looking great.
AND...the big advance today: the big doors are in downstairs...
